Alterations to Period Property
Beverley, East Yorkshire

Alterations to 1920s wide-fronted period property built in an exclusive area of Beverley.

The new owners of the property, located on one of the most impressive plots of land in the town, required sensitive alterations to the dwelling whilst keeping many of the period features and not affecting the general form of the external façade.

The design incorporates many elements which will restore the elegance of the original house to its former glory, including relocating the kitchen to a position to take advantage of sunlight, the remodelling of all bedrooms, converting roof space to increase living accommodation and the addition of a new sun room, garage and car port with gym over.

The new owners are committed to sensitively restoring the house, keeping the soul of the structure whilst reorganising the space to their needs and bringing it up to current Building Regulations Standards.
