Deira Park
Beverley, East Yorkshire

The proposed development of Deira Park is named after the northern Anglo-Saxon kingdom which was formed in the area of East Yorkshire and lasted until the 7th Century AD. The site is part of the allocation BEV-J which allows for potentially 1800 new homes to built on the southern side of Beverley.

A Masterplan for BEV-J (76.50 hectares) was prepared by Sangwin Architects and subsequently adopted by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.  Part of this land was acquired by the client to build new homes and a new roundabout into the site. The proposed site was 17.65 hectares in total, however the application was a hybrid Planning Application requesting Full Planning Permission for 255 new homes and infrastructure, and an Outline Planning Permission for an area of land for a further potential 175 new homes.

This residential scheme, which provides a potential 430 new homes and associated infrastructure, has been a challenging but truly rewarding project and represents our largest residential development venture to date.
