New home on vacant land in west Hull village.
Swanland is a popular area of west Hull with large dwellings located on generous plots, however there is always an opportunity to create a new home which blends in whilst standing out.
The client had a clear view of what the house needed to provide in terms of space and function, but the key elements which were essential to the finished product were the introduction of eyebrow dormers. The feature is not typical of the East Riding but can be seen in one location in the adjacent village of West Ella.
The final design nestles comfortably next to the large tree in the front garden and the setting of the architecture in the street scene works well amongst the larger homes in the village.
