New build industrial units
Hull, East Yorkshire

New build industrial units / conversion of existing commercial unit

The current building, which occupies the site, was constructed in the 1970s as a soft drinks warehouse and depot. The building was later occupied by cash & cary pioneers Nurdin & Peacock Ltd until the company was taken over by Booker Cash & Carry in 1996. Booker Cash & Carry moved to St. Andrew’s Quay in 2016 and the site has remained empty since then.

The original proposal included the removal of the existing building to be replaced with 7150 sq.m. of new commercial/industrial space with a B2, B8 and E Classification, for which Planning Permission was obtained. However, it was subsequently decided to refurbish the existing 7100 sq.m. building to create three large commercial units.

The existing building has been refurbished to a very high level and a well-known dilapidated building has been transformed into a modern commercial space.
